Forever and Always Pt. 1

Fang--P.O.V.

" Breakfast"! I heard Dr. M call up to us all. When I tried to get out of bed something tightened around my waist. I looked down in alarm only to have a warm smile appear on my face, for I was looking at a peacefully sleeping Max. Then the events of last night flooded back to me.


*FLASHBACK*

There was a familar knock at my door, Max.

" Come in Max". I said calmly.

" How'd ya know it was me"? she asked curiously.

" Its because of how you knock". I replied stairing at the celing.

" How I knock"?! she exclaimed quietly, for it was 2:00 in the morning may I add.

" Yeah your knock is light and soft were, compared to Gazzy's which is just downright loud". I smiled as I sat up and patted the spot next to me. Max laughed and sat down. She then became very nervious which scared me, yes Fang the Rock is scared get over it.

" Hey Max, you okay"? I asked pulling her close. I could feel her blush.

" Yeah I'm fine". She said but it didn't convince me. I knew she was lying.

" No your not, whats up"? I asked again.

" Well...I...um...wanted...um...to tell you...um..." Max started but by the end trailed off.

" Tell me what Max"? I asked honestly.

" Well...I wanted to tell you...um...that I..." she again trailed off.

" That you what"? I questioned holding her closer.

" That Iwuvyou". Max said hurrdly.

" Sorry Max but I didn't catch that". I responded with no hint of a smile or humor in my voice. Max took a deep breath and sighed.

" I said.....I love you". She said much more clearly. I froze, and Max took that as a sign of rejection and pulled away from me and moved to the farthest corner of my bed.

" I see, you don't feel the same". she sighed and I swear I saw a single tear roll down her cheek. Finally coming out of my frozen state I moved over to wrap my arms around her. Since I knew, me knowing Max, that she wouldn't believe me if I said what I truly felt, that if I went one day without seeing her I'd die, that if she was hurt it would kill me, that I loved her with my whole exsistence and that my world revolves around her smile and when she cries my heart breaks and my world stops turning. Instead I put a finger under her chin and lifted it so that her lips were centimeters from mine.

" Maximum Margret Ride...." I said sternly Max just looked shocked.

"....How could you ever think that I don't care for you that way"? I asked tears even coming to my eyes at the thought that Max didn't think I loved her.

" You stayed silent and I thoug"....she started but I cut her off by closing the space between our lips. At first she was shocked but then, to my complete and utter suprise, she started kissing me back!

After about three minutes of kissing Max I reluctaintly broke the kiss for air.

" There that tell you how I actually feel about you"? I asked her as I held her the closest I ever have, afraid that if I didn't she would disapear.

" Y-you love me too"? She questioned as she looked into my eyes. I simply nodded yes and chuckled to myself as she yawned.

" Forever and always". I said kissing the top of her head. Max layed her head on my chest and in about five minutes she and I both were asleep.

*END FLASHBACK*

I stroked her hair until she woke up and I bent and whispered in her ear,

" Good morning sleeping beauty".

" Good morning Fang". She replied sleepily. "Wait FANG"!? She exclaimed looking up at me.

'' I sure hope its me". I chuckled as I lightly kissed her, but Max wasn't going have any of that she kissed me again but with a lot more force. Then a voice broke the kiss.

" Hey Fang have you seen Max? She's not in her roo..." Gazzy trailed of when he saw Max laying next to me.

" FOUND HER ANGEL! SHE'S IN FANG'S ROOM" Gazzy shouted over his shoulder, ignoring Max and my pleas of "Sssshh Gazzy". Soon Dr. M and the whole flock were crowding around the door to my room staring at us, Angel and Nudge doing a victory dance. After about twenty minutes of silence Angel was the one to break the silence.

'' FINALLY"! The rest of us laughed nodding our heads.

" So do you two want some chocolate chip pancakes or should we all go"? Dr. M asked.

" PANCAKES"! Max and I said in unison while looking at eachother.

" Pancakes it is"! Dr. M laughed as we all followed her to the kitchen, my arm never leaving its spot around Max's waist.
